What to Expect
At Liberty Home Gardens, creativity begins right in the garden. Our workshops welcome participants of all ages to explore the natural world and transform what they find into art. You’ll gather leaves, flowers, and seed pods from our lush yard, then learn the art of relief printmaking using a professional etching press and richly pigmented inks.
In addition to printmaking, we offer a variety of hands-on workshops—such as mini book making, seed pod creature creation, and other nature-inspired projects. New workshops are added throughout the year, each designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection to the natural world.
Etching Press
We're excited to introduce a professional etching press to our backyard art studio, giving students the unique opportunity to explore the world of printmaking. During our workshops, students will learn the art of relief printmaking, bookmaking, creating personalized stationery, cyanotypes, and much more. This hands-on experience with a real etching press will not only enhance their artistic skills but also ignite their passion for printmaking. Each activity is designed to be both educational and enjoyable, ensuring that every student leaves with their own beautifully crafted prints and a newfound appreciation for this timeless art form.
